About Me

I am Dr. Biswash Basnet, a medical doctor by profession and a public voice by conscience.

My journey into public life did not begin with politics—it began in villages, hospital wards, and classrooms where inequality is not a theory but a daily reality. As a doctor, I have seen how poor governance silently turns into poor health, poor education, and poor futures. That realization pushed me beyond clinics and into civic action.

I have consistently raised my voice on issues that matter to national dignity and social justice. I actively pressured the government to uphold Nepal’s sovereign map, including Lipulekh. I stood at the forefront of the “Enough is Enough” movement, demanding accountability and an end to systemic failure. During the Bangladesh unrest, I advocated for Nepali medical students to secure internship opportunities in Nepal when their education was at risk. I have also been one of the leading voices in Gen Z protests, representing a generation that refuses to inherit silence.

I believe politics should be rooted in service, not privilege; in courage, not convenience. My goal is simple—to turn public frustration into policy change and youth energy into responsible leadership.
